My favorite horse breed! I love Arabians. You captured their fire and grace wonderfully! The large eyes, the concave face, the high-set tails, the arched crests, and the very-well-groomed coats. Fantastic job!

Xueling, I always appreciate your comments and am flattered you take the time to visit and comment on my site but I haven't seen this painting. I don't have words but I'll try. I love the way the whiters just glow on the rust horse and I can see its tightly strung muscles in the hindquarters. I also love the tail raised high and the ears pointed as if ready to play with the black. Or maybe it's not play? (I won't mention what it could be). It's truly a beautiful work and I love the way you put texture in the background but it does't take away from the main focus which is the rust. Even the black is a part of the background. Fantastic perspective. FAV!!

Wow, what fantastic life-like excitement and emotion -- you convey that moment beautifully and so realistically -- when mare and stallion (or gelding) meet. My horses look just like this when we introduce a new one to the herd! The power and passion are so great, the human must just get out of the way!!!
